IMG 2352At a time when we don't even know where we are going, I am certainly aware that generations before me also had to struggle with this problem.
But what depresses me the most is that in this day and age of the Cell Phones, Facebook, Internet and everyone should be so enlightened, hatred, frustration, power and hopelessness are the order of the day.
We can all feel that we are doing well, but we also know that after a high there always comes a low. It's always good when you have real friends by your side, people who trust you and you trust them to build you up and just help you without asking.
There are things in life where you start praying because you just can't see any other way. When hopelessness or the light in the dark is no longer there, then you are focusing on God. I've had this experience myself many times and I'm grateful for it.
I am also very grateful that I was able to meet a wonderful person in Los Angeles who was one of the greatest gospel singers and songwriters in the USA. Unfortunately he passed away a few years ago, but he became my best friend, brother and also my musical teacher.
Andraé Crouch has eight Grammys and a star on the “Walk of Fame”. We had so many great moments together, we attended Bible lessons at his church, we discussed music a lot, and he was a big fan of my voice. I know that he is watching me from heaven and in the many things that I do in my life, be it musically or privately, I always ask myself how Andraé would have done that.
Sometimes it's good that you give all the things you ask for into God's hands, because that's where they are best kept.
