“My Dream of Christmas All Twelve Months of the Year”
As a young child, Christmas has always inspired me.
When the sky turns red in the evening, I always thought that Santa Claus was baking cookies.
I never wanted to see the Decorated Christmas Tree before Christmas Morning.
I always wanted to see the Christmas tree when the door opened and I could never get enough of this wonderful event.
My twin sister always helped decorated the Christmas tree with my parents in the living room. I never did that because then the surprise wouldn't have been so great and my Christmas dream would have been destroyed a bit.
I was always happy when the door to the living room was unlocked on Christmas Eve and I could then enjoy everything.
Somehow that has remained until today. For me, Christmas has always been a great festival of love and joy, being celebrated to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ.
When I was four years old, I got my first guitar for Christmas. Christmas has always been associated with music for me. We used to sing Christmas carols from the “Tchibo” booklets. My grandmother had an excellent sing voice and it was always a very musical festival.
The high point for me years later was actually being able to spend Christmas in New York at the Rockefeller Center. It was just an experience that cannot be described in words. Christmas in New York is simply the greatest thing I've personally experienced.
It's just nice that people think about peace a lot during this time, I wish Christmas was all twelve months of the year, people think about peace a lot more. Forgiveness is something very beautiful, if you can forgive it is simply emotionally mega and if you can experience forgiveness yourself, it's even nicer.
I will certainly sit down in the next few days and compose my own Christmas Song.
